Noice game my friend liked the aspect of making sure nothing reaches zero (except crime) and has loads of potential.

Also Tvw9 the web version is out it looks crappy cause I messed around with the materials but it should work

http://localhost:49655

Thats a local link…

Localhost is your current machine so unless everyone has the game running on there local machine this wont work, we need an HTML version

it has a lot of potential to grow and it was fun little game

Thanks!

Tvw9 the web version is out

http://localhost:49655

it should work IDK

also it will look bad cause i messed around with the colors not knowing what I did T_T

I'm not a web developer but I think you just gave a link to  localhost, which is working only for you :)

What game engine are you using?

Crap um unity.

You can just select WebGL platform before Building, at least that's what I do

Tvw9 Im going to upload a mac os edition on a new post so you can play

Nice, I'll play when I have time

a fun little game, i took my eye off the ball and crime hit 10 :( after 28 years.

Thanks, things like that happen sometimes :)

I enjoyed the game. The value range on some buildings was a nice touch to make things seem less static.

I would have enjoyed a UI element showing the +/- range of my currently built buildings because later in the game it becomes quite a number crunch to figure out what I should build next.

Also the game doesn't lean into the theme too much. The random bad events are a good idea, but the execution leaves a bit to be desired because the events don't feel like they impact gameplay much.

Very nice vibes in the game with the art and audio, great job.

Thanks! Yea I agree with you, execution of random events could be better, but that means next versions will be better!

Amaizing game, if you add a grid based layout instead of the drag and drop it would be perfect. I loved it!

agree grid base

Thanks! Yes, I think I'll add grid based layout in further developement

Nice game, would consider adding more types of houses to make it more variety. The artwork is great but the main menu UI falls a bit short. Overall fun game, good work!

Thanks, yea I kinda agree with your take on UI

I love the sound effects

Thanks!

Ooverpopulation! can't place anything
I would suggest making the building placement more clear. On the edges of the map, it's not clear whether or not you can place a building. Furthermore, the collision of castles is a little deceptive (maybe an invisible grid would help)

Really fun project! Would be thrilled to see it expanded a little :D I like the concept, the dynamic between crime and happiness/econ (markets are definitely OP hehe). The random events help spice the experience. Nice work for a game jam. Impressive!

Thank you! That's crazy how y'all are getting 100+

I respect the effort you put in this!

I will definitely consider your feedback when further developing this game!

Wow! I love the sound effects and the sleek looks of the game! Keep the work up! Although...  I only got to 20! :(

That's good! Even getting to 10-15 is hard sometimes ;)

Really Good!

Thank you

After 123 years, the wall is complete...
The market district is finally safe from the shopping district.

I spent far too long playing to this point (even the game knows I'm currently pointing at a W layout). Phenomenal game \( ~0~)/
My only suggestion for if you ever update this or make something similar: having the placements be on a grid would be nice

Wow, Thank you very much! I really respect the effort you have put in that! Man you even beat my personal record :D Yea, grid placement is something that I have in mind!

Review:

👉First, nice game, great assets, very comprehensive, the text is good, and the animation is also good. I didn’t find any bugs.

👉Bad points: too easy, no real objective in the game, and it doesn’t really fit with the theme.

👉Suggestions: You could add revolutions when the crime, happiness, or economy bar exceeds a certain threshold. The people revolt, and then you add animations of people at war. Every 10 seconds, for example, the player loses one point from each category, and the goal is to speed up the game and play cards faster to create a sense of "stress" for the player. Because if you do this, everything could go wrong, as the more the player loses points, the more revolutions will happen...

Conclusion very good game, some upgrades can be done, come check my game 👍

Thank you! yes my game has some problems with the theme, I added random events, but they are too random I guess lol :) I'll definitely check out your game!

game is a bit too easy imo... i filled my whole scrren with buildings on year 84 so

Wow maybe you got lucky? Because as I saw earlier many people can't get past 50 or so

yeah i probably got lucky that events didnt occur that often im not sure

Neat concept! The gameplay is very straightforward and understandable.

Considering the limited time you had, it's very impressive how well you implemented the core mechanic of the stats and disasters. Would really love to see and play this game in the future if you develop it further!

Thanks!!

It's a very interesting idea! I really like the way I can manage my own town. I'm looking forward to seeing more features, like being able to see people living there or having special effects when I place things together.

Thank you!

Very interesting! I love the fact the controls are so simple. A few seconds ago I was playing a game with 20 different buttons that do something lol.

Just a question: Does the placement of my buildings effect anything, cuz I just places stuff in a line and picked the best options and got pretty far (35 years).

If this was fully developed, I would definitely play this on the daily. Its so much fun!

Now for the criticism. A proper tutorial maybe, because the tutorial you gave was basically a How To Play more than a tutorial. And to undo my move before I press the new year.

Thank you! Nah, placement means nothing to be honest (at least right now). Thanks for the criticism, yea I agree with you, I'll surely expand this game in the future and everything you listed. Thank you very much!
